The RCSIsmj editors and staff would like to cordially  invite you to the second meeting of our Journal Club.

This is a new aspect to the SMJ society that we are trying out for the first time this year. After a warm reception to the inaugural journal club meeting in November we have decided to make this a regular event. Thus, after a short break we are ready to prepare for a new meeting. This time, our esteemed Editor-in-Chief, Eoin Kelleher, will be leading the discussion.

The meeting will be held on March 13, 2013 at 6pm. The article to be discussed is entitled “Reboxetine for acute treatment of major depression: systematic review and meta-analysis of published and unpublished placebo and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor controlled trials.” The article can be accessed through the BMJ and also here. 

Professor Ronan Conroy will be in attendance to lead student discussion. The event will be held in Tutorial Room 1 in the College.
